Ursa Minor & Draco

PictureDraco
Just like Ursa Major (previous blog post), star names in the Little Dipper or Little Bear suggest an enclosure of livestock. Between the two enclosures and partly surrounding Ursa Minor, are strung the stars of Draco, the Dragon. The evil one desires nothing more than to destroy those precious to God. God holds them close, and the only way the evil one can harm them is if they submit to his lies and tremble before him. Even then, however, their souls are safely in their Father's hand.

"I know whom I have believed and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day," 2 Timothy 1:12b.

"No one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand," John 10:29b.
