I remember the Uncle Remus stories from my childhood, especially the one about Br'er Rabbit escaping from Br'er Fox by begging not to be thrown into the briar patch, which was exactly what Br'er Fox did and exactly what Br'er Rabbit wanted. I also remember "Twicky Wabbit" from the Twix ad on TV.
Among the constellations we find a small one known as Lepus, The Hare. Hebrew and Arabic names associated with this constellation mean the enemy, the mad, and the deceiver. There is no question to whom these names refer, especially since the upraised foot of the mighty Orion is just above Lepus' head. Here is another heavenly picture of the Seed of the woman crushing the head of the enemy, as promised in the Garden of Eden.
The trickster has lost the battle, but he hasn't quit fighting. Deception is his greatest weapon. How can anyone stand against deception other than by knowing the truth? God's children need to do serious study of the word of God.
