Dates and pecans (or walnuts). That's all—for an almost instant Christmas confection. Slit the side of the date for those on the left, or just push the pecan in the hole where the seed was removed. This second way could represent the Christ child in his swaddling cloths. I like these for Christmas because dates are a product of the Middle East.
